Peenares was a bloody mess and was on his way down. Anyone who thinks it was a bad stoppage is obviously a groupie. Even he didn't protest it, why would anyone else?

the guy got stunned, backed into the ropes, dropped his hands
can't do that when you're bloody as hell
the ref will be looking to halt you in that situation

Linares was on his way to getting stopped. He was bleeding profusely with his vision impaired. He was getting hit. He became very stationary. His punching lost its steam. So it was an accumulation of things
