It only hurts when I am not warmed up or if I sleep on it to long. A doctor can give out a fancy name to an injury even though it is only a slight separation or tear just to make it sound bad. I just think his constant acting jobs caught up with him and it cost him.
How old are you again, You do know BHoP is 46 right? Oh and btw when you get older that shoulder is gonna hurt more often.

Lol. You are quite mature there hero. Never said I survived 2 warzones. I am still in Afghanistan now and I aint done yet. Are you that sad and shallow that you have to degrade other people? Look up Mazar-E-Sharif, Afghanistan (Camp DehDadi II). It is 1314 on 16 OCT 2011. Let me know when you find it so you can man up. Maybe you fantasize about being other things but I would rather be with my family than being stuck here. I dont mind kids like you getting mad and hating. I am here so you can do that. Keep up the good work.

I am 37 and I know my shoulder will hurt even more. I am willing to pay the price. I was just saying that it is not a debilitating injury like a torn rotator cuff or labrum. He should have been able to continue.

i was wrong - hopkins really flubbed his shoulder up. . . i said from the beginning, if i saw dr. reports other than just "bruising" or something, like a real separation i would back off 'hop. . .

i seriously doubt this is fake. . . a dr. prescribing him narcotic painkillers, and giving a false diagnosis - too much of a conspiracy for me to buy into. . . it's not like he had a "private physician" - he went to a public hospital where scrutiny is much higher.

get better 'hop and hope to see you return to WAR!

Thats what I thought. I knew you wouldn't look anything up because cowards like you can only talk behind a computer. You must be a miserable lil boy to have to make all these negative remarks about people. I do feel quite sad for you. And for another man to turn you on is very ****sexual in nature. Just grow up and get a life or a job.

Now you're just getting tired. While i respect people serving in the military (but i dont want to get into my opinions on that or the "wars"), you coming on here thinking that you're better or tougher or older or the only non couch potato or the only athlete or ex-athlete posting on a BOXING FORUM is lame already.

I ask again, when you ****** up your shoulder were you in the middle of a world championship prizefight with millions of dollars on the line? Were you risking losing a fight than could prevent you from making millions of dollars in the future if you continued? Were you prepared to fight at a disadvantage caused by a foul perpetrated by your opponent that would clearly put him in in a superior position?

He wasnt on a battlefield where he had no choice but fight or die. Your drawing a conclusion on how bhop should have reacted based on a similar nagging injury you have(im 37 as well and we all have
nagging injuries) is baseless. Its not the same thing. I have no acl left in my left knee (that i already had reconstructed once). Does that mean that since i do all kinds of stuff on it that a football player like jamal charles should keep playing on a torn acl that happens during a game? No, it doesnt.

I apprecaite the mature response. What is lame is all the people that come on here to put people down and be racist and deragatory. I was not saying any of that which you posed. All I was saying was that with that type of injury, which I have, it does not limit you to make you have to quit. I never even said that bhop was faking. I was just trying to point out that he should have been able to continue. Yes he is in a multi million dollar fight but he was getting those millions regardless. If Jamal Charles has a torn ACL he probably would not be able to play. You have no ACL left and it has happened a while back. Look at Frank Gore. He blew his knee out and came back as well. Your analogy doesn't quite fit but I get what you are saying. I still haven't drawn a conclusion yet but I was just trying to give a different perspective.
