At Hopkins age a separated shoulder is a big deal and facing somebody of Dawson's caliber would have made for a long lopsided fight.

agree 100%. . . Probably best it was stopped because we want to see Hopkins as many times as possible before hanging 'em up - and if he fought on it would have been a one-sided loss as well as career ending. . .

Im all for the commission turning it into a NC and ordering an immediate rematch unless Dawson wants to forfeit the titles and they both move their separate ways. . .

When I saw the replay(from the camera that's looking down on the ring from the ceiling, lights or where ever the hell it's hanging from) it was VERY CLEAR Hopkins landed on his elbow & that by itself is VERY PAINFUL & CAUSES SOME SORT OF DAMAGE THAT A FIGHTER WOULDN'T OR SHOULDN'T BE ABLE OR BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE!! Just Imagine adding dislocating his shoulder!! It should have been a NO-CONTEST..

AC Separation is not bad

I am not gonna say that Bhop is faking or the doctor is lying but I will tell you that I have had the same injury to my AC joint since 2007 and I have been deployed to Iraq and am now in Afghanistan and I can still function through the pain to include ruck marching, boxing, mma and power lifting. It only hurts when I am not warmed up or if I sleep on it to long. A doctor can give out a fancy name to an injury even though it is only a slight separation or tear just to make it sound bad. I just think his constant acting jobs caught up with him and it cost him.

When it is ruled a NC Hopkins will get his titles back. A No contest basically means it was a fight with no conclusions, no wins, losseses, or draws.

yeah i been watching the fall over and over and i can see how falling with allur weight on ur elbow like that would jam some shyte up in your shoulder. . . i apologize for calling him a puzzy and a bunt. . . lol hope he gets better and rematches dawson, or fights super six winner (or super six/bute) winner.
