dawson didn't commit a foul actually, hopkins commited the foul by jumping ontop of chad, getting shoulder shrugging you're opponent off is not a foul when he's the one ontop of you

IMO, this should have been a NC. Fighters lean, push-off with their shoulder, hold or shove a forearm to the throat, which all happend in this fight. Both men were fighting dirty, or as others would call, like a 'crafty veteran'. That being said, using your left arm to sweep your opponent's right leg while pushing him off is downright malicious.

Bhop was airborne for a brief moment, both feed off the ground. He broke his fall with his left elbow and then his left shoulder, which at the time was already out of the ring; therefore, his shoulder crashed onto the official's table after being jammed/jarred by the impact of his elbow on ring mat.

just because at that point it looked kind of bad for b-hop but dawson don't make it look like you're a gangster and hard. you reputation back in connecticut is that you're a soft girl and you prooved it in the glen johnson and jean pascal fights.the fall was harder for hopkins because he has and old body.

Did the ref mess up? sure, but hopkins dirty tactics finally got the best of him, and now he won't ever get a title shot again. He decided to jump on his back, and dawson did what all boxers would have done, he threw him off. He wasn't gonna take any of that crap. Nothing for hopkins to do but retire
