Its been confirmed by MRI that Hopkins did indeed have a dislocated shoulder.

I like Dawson i think he is an amazing talent so i dont put any of the blame on him, emotions run wild during a fight.

But to win a title on such an obvious foul is a huge blow on the legitimacy of the sport as a whole and the fact that there are people that feel Hopkins deserved it or that it was a just call by the ref perpetuate the fact that our great sport is in shambles.

It will be a great shame if this shoulder injury forces Hopkins into retirement, the mans a warrior and deserves to go out on his shield.

Watching that last round again, bernard was having his way with dawson. I actually think bernard should have gotten credit for knocking Dawson down. He hit him with a punch, and Dawson's glove touched the canvas.

I know your bias for Hopkins, but now you are just talking BS. That so called knockdown didn't come from a punch, it came from Hopkins smothering Dawson with his body. And how was Hopkins controlling the second round when he didn't land anything significantly at all?

sounds like angry sarcasm when he says it,they ask hopkins if he can go on and he says with 1 arm yea look at the lump on my shoulder than the ref says that he can't fight. if you want to fight on why are you pointing out the lump on your shoulder to the doctor?
i also feel like bernard quit and thats probably how the ref seen it to and that is probably the reason why he ruled it a tko and if you watch the post fight interview by hopkins there is no mention of him wanting to fight dawson again and at the same time dawson is talking about bernard is *****,he aint no gangsta,i told you he was gonna quit and he also says tell your man to get some heart and bernard let all of that rock so no i don't think he wants anything to do with dawson
