How many divisions in our era could SRR have captured gold at?

Had he fought in our era, starting from welterweight, how many and at which divisions do you think Sugar Ray Robinson could have captured gold at?

Not sure he should be starting at welter. I remember a thread from a while back that postulated SRR going to a modern Olympics at 17 then turning pro as a lightweight. So 135 right through to 168/175 for me, a better version of DLH

          The answer is six.

          Lightweight
          Jr. welterweight
          Welterweight
          Jr. middleweight
          Middleweight
          Super middleweight

There is a possibility at 175, but with day before weigh ins he may be to small come fight time.

I'd give him a shot at pulling off a De La Hoya and making 130 lbs very early on too.

I was thinking that after I posted my response. Maybe, Im not sure. At 5'11" he might be draining himself a bit to much.

With modern day training methods and nutrition, he'd easily make 130-168.

                  130, 135, 147, 154, 160, 168, 175.

he would dominate most of them too, not just win meaningless belts against weak titleholders.

he would smoke dawson, cloud, and especially hopkins and pascal

cloud got outboxed by yusef mack for a few rounds.

even at 175 he could box a torrid pace or use his skills and his combinations off the jab and use the ring

i also find it hard to believe that he would ever make 135 or 140 long enough to get a shot at a title, but that's just an opinion.

i'd pick him to easily become the WW, jr MW, MW, SMW, and LHW champion.

he'd probably remain a middleweight the longest unless there were good fights to be had at WW

i'd pick him to stop cotto, pacquiao, and even the much larger martinez.

when you guys think of robinson you gotta understand that in his prime he had no flaws.

he could literally do anything he wanted in there:
it all started with perhaps the best chin ever and a true fighting mentality (you just hit me? i'm going to hit you back harder.)
then came the brutal one punch power in either hand, even in his combinations
                    then the hand and footspeed,
                    and then the boxing skills

oh and he was almost six feet tall and had 74 inches of reach (making him a huge WW, and a good sized MW)
