Bingo. anything under 154 just gives haters a reason to bash the fight. Although that is not Floyd's optimal weight he can just come in at 150 and box his way to a victory over an opponent that's get's him almost as much credit as Pac.Comment

Since when does a catch weight have to help only one fighter? If anything that's abusing it, which is what guys like Pacquiao, Danny Green, Sugar Ray Leonard and now even Cotto have been doing. A catch weight is meant to be a weight limit that two fighters in different weight classes meet at to fight at even grounds. Floyd is a WW and Sergio is a MW. Therefore the midpoint would be around 153 or 154. Its still a catch weight, whether both have fought there before or not.
If it happens @ 154 - THAT IS NOT A CATCHWEIGHTComment

I'm a Floyd fan too you decelerated fool lol the only reason I dropped him from my top 5 is because he was inactive for a year and didn't seem serious about boxing. But if he fights Khan, Martinez or Manny in 2012 he'll certainly go right back there...
...wait, I'm talking to a guy who thinks making a Middleweight come down to 150 is acceptable. Let me stop now lolComment

No he can't lol. If he fights Sergio at 154, he would come in at 150-152 and that would be a lot for him. And he would let Sergio come in at 154. That's what happened with Oscar. Ho will a guy that weighed in 146 in a weigh in in his prior fight, gonna weigh 154 in his next fight.Comment

Smh... Sergio can make 154, he's not even a big MW. The guy came in at 164-165 against Barker. Why are you acting like it only benefits Mayweather? Are you forgetting Mayweather would have to move up too even though he's not even a big WW?Comment
