lol can't you be a little discreet with your bias and hypocrisy? is floyd's balls really that deep in your throat? how can a 150 or 151 catchweight between them is a good fight and creditable? even if sergio can make 150 it will still be a garbage fight because martinez will be severely weight drained. margarito made 150 when he fought pac and that fight was vigorously criticized. in fact you're one of them who incessantly criticized it. i did too actually and i will do the same if floyd will fight martinez at 150 or even 152. now if he they will fight at 154 then all props goes to floyd.
i also said in my earlier post i dont believe this fight needs to be or shuld be for any title, mw or otherwise. idc about the title, i dont think either fighter cares about the title. i just want to see the fight. so plz go find somewhere else to take ur ****** ass argument.Last edited by Kagami Taiga; 10-14-2011, 05:48 PM.Comment

Funny how people think Mayweather needs a catchweight to fight Martinez.
Floyd would beat the **** out of Martinez at 160.
Martinez would weigh 165 on fight night which is what Ortiz weighed.
Mayweather would weigh in at 150 and come into the ring at 150.
Thats only 15 pounds between the two.
Floyd sparred jr middleweights and middleweights(ouma, latimore, powell) for the Ortiz fight.
If Floyd was to fight Martinez, then it would be at middleweight for the middleweight crown.
And Floyd would make easy work of Martinez.
Put your hands down in front of Floyd and you know what would happen.
Just ask Ortiz.Comment

The fight should so obviously be made. But its like Floyd expects a bravery award and pat on the back for doing so!
Sergio is stepping down in weight for Floyd, which is traditionally harder to do it seems so where is the risk and why is it so big a deal that Floyd fights Sergio.
Other fighters Sergio fights dont get praise and honours of bravery so why does Floyd expect special treatment or something? Stop using different weight divisions to avoid fighting people is what i say. Pac is campaigning at WW deliberately so FLoyd cant avoid him and no one can accuse Pac of being scared of Floyd And if you do say Pac is scared of Floyd, no one would believe you.
Just get the fight made already.Comment

17 pages? Why? Are we still playing the see no evil, hear no evil game? Did we not learn from the Dubai fiasco? Again, from Lou Dibella himself, just 2 days ago...
"It's going to be a long shot for Mayweather to fight Martinez," said DiBella. "Although I think that Mayweather is so good and such a warrior that there's a chance that if Mayweather doesn't get Manny Pacquiao, that he would consider Martinez."
DiBella also promotes Irish fighter Andy Lee (27-1, 19 KOs), who decisioned Brian Vera (19-6, 12 KOs) on the Martinez-Barker undercard to avenge a seventh-round knockout loss from March of 2008.
Lee might be in line to face Martinez in a clash of southpaws, as may right-hander Matthew Macklin (28-3, 19 KOs), whom DiBella also promotes.
Macklin lost a disputed split-decision to WBA titleholder Felix Sturm (36-2-1, 15 KOs) in June.
"I have the two best Irish fighters in the world with Lee and Macklin. I think that Macklin beat Sturm and that he should already be a champion," said DiBella.
"Plus, Macklin's had two great wins on HBO. St. Patrick's Day is in March, which is right around the time that I would like Sergio have another fight."
The WBC has ordered titleholder Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (43-0-1, 30 KOs) to defend his belt against Martinez by the first quarter of 2012 or relinquish it, according to WBC Secretary General Mauricio Sulaiman.
Chavez has a scheduled match-up opposite Peter Manfredo Jr. (37-6, 20 KOs) on Nov. 19. But if victorious, DiBella does not believe Chavez will choose to face Martinez.
"If Chavez Jr.'s the coward that I think that he is, then he will gives up the title rather than face Martinez," said DiBella. "And then, there's a good chance that we'll fight Macklin or possibly Lee on St. Patrick's Day."Comment
