I am not saying he can't, I am saying that if he goes to Russia he should demand 4-5 million because he would be at disadvantage if the fight goes to the scorecards. Why he won't fight Pirog here? Who knows? Maybe Pirog is high risk low reward for them, maybe they feel Pirog doesn't deserve a shot at Sergio, maybe they want Mackin and Lee because Dibella promotes those fighters as well. These could all be reasons.

Again, I have no problem with Sergio fighting Pirog, I just think people on this forum exaggerate on Pirog. He's the number 7 ranked fighter at 160. Pirog is not must see.

That's what I am talking. You do use common sense, and I do know what you're talking about as well.

The only diffirence in opinion is the matter of who deserves to fight Sergio and who doesn't.

You think it's Pirog becuase of his technique and style, I say it's Mackling and Sturm for their accomplishments.

And Again, I don't mind a fight with Pirog, I just don't think it's a must like most people here think. If Pirog beats Macklin or Sturm or Lee for that matter. ok, Pirog is making his case to challenge Sergio. But beating Danny Jacons in my opinion is not enough.

no one would pay martinez 4-5 mill... NO ONE!!! The sooner you understand this, the sooner you will understand that asking for that amount is tantamount to ducking.

But beating Danny Jacons in my opinion is not enough.

I think it would have helped Pirog BIG TIME if he had followed the Jacobs win with a quick return on a televised card in the US but he didn't strike while the iron was hot. Maybe not his fault. Now it is over a year and people forget easily. I wanted to see him cause I am a fan of his awkward but effective style but he disappeared.
