Floyd Money Mayweather started it by claiming that's he is king of PPV, that he makes people buy them more than any other fighters. So *****s and *******s started to care.

Floyd deserves the blame. Now we know he can't sell, just imagine the numbers without Canelo and Morales! BUMMER!

What i don’t understand is why you are all so obsessed with who gets the most PPV subscribers?! I mean, really, why?

I don’t care one bit if Mayweather has 850K, 8.5M or just 8 people buying his fights, i don’t care at all. I’ll still watch him. You’ll still watch him. What does it matter?

It’s like it’s a badge of honour for some of you on here in this never ending battle between rival fans.

Oooo Floyd did XXXXX PVV and Manny only managed XXXX PPV, therefore Floyd is better etc.

          Yawn.

Isn’t chat like that more suited to the playground, and more suited to the game of conkers rather than boxing

Can i have a sensible answer please, I’m sure there must be one.
WHy do you care what other posters debate about? If you don't like the topic, leave it alone.

Floyd's fans got a little defensive after they b*tched about how Floyd should get the lions share in the first negotiations

Not obsessed, however I am interested from a pure standpoint of seeing how the general public perceives each fight.

I think only floyd fans are obsessed with ppv numbers because they think that it somehow makes floyd better than pac. pac fans only talk about it to troll floyd fans.

This. It really serves as a barometer for the popularity of boxing in general, which as a fan of boxing, should be important from a fan perspective. If the top guys aren't selling PPVs, it reflects where people are choosing to spend and not spend their disposable income. I miss the descrambler days, I used to have every fight.
