Haye told us he had all speed, power and angles of punches to deal with Wlad and the fact he was a bit smaller would make no difference to the outcome. That's what he told us.

He obviously had confidence in himself but came up short. What did you expect him to say "I'm not good enough, I'm going to lose"?

The man who posted above who said Haye is a natural heavyweight is correct, he is, he always struggled to make Cruiser. He's also taller than people realise.

He's lost 1 fight at Heavyweight to Wladimir..in his first fight against a man that big with skill.

No disgrace in my eyes, at all - comments like f*uck Haye are just ill educated - the man talked so he made money and you're also failing to realise Haye has talked before every fight and delivered on all but 2 ocassions. His persona in interviews is very different to the trash talk, he's a nice guy.
I think Haye had a fine career at Heavyweight. He became a champion and lost against an ATG.

Also lol @ the dumbass who said lots of people beat Valuev.

But its true and i stated that they didn’t try to weight drain them self’s. In Dempsey bio a flame of pure fire they state many times that Dempsey like to cut down to just under 190lb as he felt best at that weight when fighting but that was below his walk around weight same with Marciano. I thought it was pretty common knowledge??? read some old autobiographies.

I've always and still do feel this way. Boxing needs a super heavy weight division desperately. Klits get an unfair advantage.

              LOL - excuses, excuses

Excusemaker himself said that he struggled to make 200 every time, for a 6'3" athlete with a lot of muscles, 210 - 220 is easy to carry.

Also, it's common knowledge that Wlad does not walk around at 245, he puts on about 15-20 pounds at camp. Steward has stated that many times.

So naturally, the difference between Wlad and that British coward is only about 15-20 pounds. If weight was issue and not skill then Ruiz, Fraudley, and Valubum would have also defeated the Toemaker rather easily. The only thing that makes Wlad different from all the other HWs is his skill, not size. Just cause you are 6'6" and 240+ doesn't mean that the little guys won't f@ck you up-

              Barrett vs Fields
              Sultan vs Briggs
              Sultan vs Goofy
              Chambers vs Dimitrenko
              Chagaev vs Valuev

              .......
The list goes on and on till eternity...

The writer of the article is a fool making excuses for a cowardly British conman.

Klitschkos win becouse they're better fighters than their opponents, not becouse they're bigger.
In the history of boxing (and nowdays) there were a lot of fighters with Klitschkos size, also with better reach

I think you're mistaking losing weight in training, with actually cutting weight. They're different things. Do you think Haye's walk around weight is the same as his fight night weight either? Of course not.
