he did try you fool but HBO wouldn't give him a date so he did what he had to do.

Also, Martirosyan, Pirog's last opponent who he dominated, was ranked #9 by the WBO, which is the belt Pirog owns.

Likewise, Maciel was ranked #9 by the WBO when he fought him.

From Smith to Manfredo to Paul Williams to Martinez to Sturm to Andy Lee, he tried to get any name opponent but couldn't get anything. Can't blame Pirog for any of that.

On the flipside, Darren Barker fought no one. He never fought in the US and never fought on HBO. there is no excuse to fight barker but not pirog. You can't logically justify it other than saying "it's an easy fight for martinez" in which you then admit martinez avoided pirog to fight an unknown easy fight.
