There may be nothing of this earthly realm that can shut up Arum. There are decades of evidence on this.
I'd like to see Pirog challenge Serg and wish it was being built beyond website chatter B.S. But in no way would beating Pirog make some magnificent difference in getting an easy pay day against someone as protected as JCC.

Pirog is a good challenger but not being completely tested, he still seems green, even if he's had some good fights already, they're rushing him.

Once again i would love to see the fight but im pretty confident in a martinez win right now so if thats the case i rather the kid get some more fights, some more experience, some more exposure and come back when at the very least it makes more sense money wise and he'll be a better fiighter so he'll also have a better shot.

As I had check it, the kid is a threat to Maravilla. If a fighter is confident enough to challenge someone. He has a chance of doing it so.

There are very few things that I am certain about. However, one of them is that this article doesn't tell the whole story. They may very well be offering Martinez a record purse. However, it may come with ah catch, such as that "record purse" is actually for two fights because he will have to sign a rematch clause if he wins; Pirog's promoter may want options on Martinez, which means he may have to fight under their banner for three or four fights for limited money if he takes this offer; Martinez may have to agree to weight stipulations or a stipulation that say his gloves will be chosen by the Pirog camp or the ring size is chosen by the Pirog camp or the judges and ref are chosen by the Pirog camp. Simply because a promoter writes a press release claiming something fantastic or says something similar in a press conference doesn't mean that that pie they are feeding you that has the beautiful outside crust isn't full of **** on the inside.
Just ask Bob Arum!!!!!
