Amteurs become pros and thats why you have have guys like Alexander with such huge flaws in basic things. He has absolutely no concept of range and some of the worst punch accuracy i'v seen. The guy literally throws 3 or 4 punch combinations where every shot falls 12 inches short. He's a master of air punching.

You can laugh but at the end of the day, however you feel about America, we DO need American boxing to be in a better state for the good of the sport as a whole. The more the talent pool of American fighters dwindle, the more interest in America dwindles for boxing.
And if we are ever going to have our sport become something other than a niche sport again, there needs to be a revival of interest in America.
Oh, why am I bothering, like you give a ****. Enjoy your "victory".Comment

Don't know about all (there's a LOT of belts), but they already have a bunch. I think what's next is the part where the fans come on board in other parts of the world. What I mean is that, at Heavyweight recently, even when the fighters have been good, for the most part the FIGHTS SUCK!I've said this many times, will say it again
In 10 years every major belt from middle weight to heavy will be owned by an eastern european white male
Why not below 160? Well it's rare to find such a small white person, especially eastern euros who tend to be on the big/tall side 6'1+ 200+lbs naturally
That hasn't been the case at Cruiser during the same period (bunch of solid brawls) and it's not true at Middle or Super Middle. Bute has already become huge in Montreal and has a fan friendly style. Golovkin is a global action star waiting too happen. Pirog is solid TV. The depth 140 has had the last couple years? That's coming to 60 with a few more guys maturing and already there (to be sustained) at 68. Crossover stardom and U.S. $ comes through epic battles (see: Chavez, Pac, Duran). There are styles for that coming up. I predict a Fight of the Year out of two Euro-Middles sometime in the next five years.
On the U.S. side, if Andre Ward keeps winning, he could very well become to Europeans what Pernell Whitaker was to Mexican fans in the 80s and 90s. Cloud and Dawson are and will stay big time for a few years, no matter the Dawson result next week. There's talent to go around, but the scale is weighing to new parts of the world.Comment

1st of all it's amateur, you score points for clean landed punches. If you score on a pro format Vasyl still won all 3 rds. Try watching what actually lands because Ramizrez hit a whole lot of air especially in the 2nd round which i thought should have been scored wider.
Round 3 Vasyl spent most the round fighting on the inside against a guy 3 or 4 inches taller and much heavier and landed alot more punches and the harder punches. Ramirez did win points, 3, just that Vasyl landed at least twice as much...as the score indicated.Comment
