If Cotto looks good against Margacheato. A Floyd-Cotto fight is very doable and it would make good money for both. Maybe we can see Floyd fight in NY at last!

Agreed. If he is good enough to redeem one loss he deserves a shot at redeeming his other loss and then retire.

The answer is no. The only CREDIBLE opponent left for PBF is Manny Pac. End of thread!

This would be a good fight at 154. I'd give him credit for fighting him a weight class higher, and with no catch weight involved (although if it's a non-title fight, a catch weight is fine since neither is a true JWW).

Also, Cotto jus might he the biggest name in boxing right now not named Manny or Floyd so the public would love it. I can't see anyone buying another Floyd fight against a no-name like Khan after the s**t Floyd pulled against Ortiz.

And nobody can say "Floyd fought Manny's leftovers", because Manny did it four times and who knows if Pac-Ortiz will happen in the future. Pac seems to respect him a lot.

If Margo brings it and his injuries don't show up with an impressive win I would say yes.

Squeeking by in a tough fight not so much. It would be interesting

Who else is there? Sergio is a better fight but he is a MW and Mayweather shouldnt have to fight at MW to keep an army of haters happy (i think he beats Serg btw)
Khan? Good fight and good cash but he would be slated for taking on a JWW who lost to Prescott by KO.
                  Berto? Spanked by Ortiz.
Mike Jones? Id respect that but Jones has no experiance at this level and is not a proven force yet.
Bradley? Pac seems to have him lined up and i like a Khan fight better anyway

He really dosnt have many options.

All people really want to see is Pacquiao vs Mayweather. Why not have an open negotiations and just get the ****in fight made already, i dont think either guy wants it Bad Enough!

personally, i think cotto's stiff jab & solid boxing skills would be good against floyd. i have no problem with the fight happening. especially if it is @ 154.

but would it mean floyd will be fighting pac's leftovers??? *gasp*

Puga cmon dude that is just so completely outrageous...I'll tell u what man on the outside chance Floyd and Margs ever fight I will bet you as much actual money as you want that Floyd wins, not points, actual money.

Back to the topic, I have no problems with Floyd fighting Cotto if Cotto gets past Margs just to shut some of you ******s up, but mark my words it will be a severe a** beating.
