Will the winner of Cotto Marg be a credible opponent for Mayweather?
If Cotto wins is he a credible opponent for Floyd?

if a 9 loss, 6 draw baldomir was considered a credible opponent, why couldn't a Cotto if he avenges his first loss? of course Cotto is a credible opponent but he has a tough fight at hand first.Comment

Cotto had a genuine shot at an upset at one point imo, not anymore. Take a look around though and unless Floyd moves to MW there arent many better options and Cotto is still a damn good fighter, damn good. Floyd will be mocked for taking it now and not when Cotto was prime, he will act baffled as to how its not the same, how he has fought far longer than Miguel and is older.
Floyd SHOULD have fought Miguel when he was undefeated and there was real clamour for it but he didnt, If he fights him now its far less important but still a tasty fight and one of his best options, maybe his best. Like i said though his haters will have a field day with itComment

They are both past prime, so why not. Floyd would take him to school but i would still watch it if he can get past Tony.
If Tony wins I would prefer Floyd faces him but who knows if he would go for that if he walks Cotto down and makes him quit again, i don't think he would fancy it and would take Khan instead if Khan isn't fighting bums at 147Comment
