Which is the biggest megafight since DLH/Trinidad?

Just got finished watching the DLH/Trinidad fight and I have got to say that it was probably the biggest megafight I've ever seen. Two undefeated fighters in their prime, the hype, the stage, just every detail fused together to catapult DLH/Trinidad to megafight status. Since then, what fight do you guys think had the magic to be considered the next biggest megafight?

.... as if the fight hasn't been an ongoing discussion on boxingscene for almost 5 years?

I would have to say that it was Lewis vs Tyson split network HBO and Showtime but both guys were already established it wasnt quite like Trinidad Delahoya in which the lower classes actually proved to be just as appealing as the heavyweights.

DLH vs Vargas comes to mind but even then its hard to really say...

Next biggest is easy...it was Oscar-Floyd. It doubled Oscar-Tito in PPV sales, got the cover of SI, and shattered the record for PPV sales by between 4or5K for any weight class.

It was the biggest fight of the PPV era, hands down.

trinidad/vargas was everything trinidad/dlh shoulda been. ppv sales weren't the same but that fight had "the magic".

One of my top 5 fights being Corrales - Castillo the #1 Pac - Marquez 1 and 2 are another in the top 5 sadly this one I won't buy. I still can't understad the body Pac has since those 130 pounds days now he is braking super welters.

No one has ever done that like that but Time will tell when all that **** explodes on him.

I understand the numbers but DLH did not have the same aura in the Mayweather fight that he had in the Trinidad fight. I started the thread because I don't think we've had a fight of that magnitude ever since. Pac/May has the potential but to date I don't see an equal.

                tyson lewis.

in terms of ppv-buys, we all know which it is.

in terms of "importance" + buzz, Trinidad vs. Hopkins had me going. Not sure how it did financially, but it was quite big from what i remember.

Floyd-Oscar II.. As far as mega fights go.

Also neither fight lived up to the hype.

Lewis-Tyson was the other only mega fight that happened between, Oscar-Tito and Floyd-Oscar time period.

Noted, I'm talking about mega fights. Not great fights.
