It is only speculation that Mike could of beat Tyson and Lewis when he was in his supposed "prime". It was all mental for Tyson, he had the physical capabilities to be one of the best ever, but he never went through adversity and it showed.

Why does most people think that Lennox Lewis and Holyfield beat the real Mike Tyson? The Mike Tyson they fought was not the real Mike Tyson of his early 20s. You go to jail for 3 years and try to be Champion that once he was. He fought Evander and Lennox for the money not to be champion. I know Tyson would knock them both out if they fought a prime Tyson. That's crazy though. Tyson was over the hill too early, is that Lewis and Holyfield's fault? Hell no. In their primes they still would've beaten Tyson. If you reign at the top for 2 years, that doesn't mean ****. If a mediocre fighter in Douglas can outbox an almost prime Tyson, imagine what a prime or even over the hill version of Lennox Lewis could do.

THe fact that a "prime" Tyson only existed for a handful of years is why I would never consider him an all time great. The man was washed up well before he shold've been, and it's nobody's fault but his own.

2, lewis beat the best from his generation, tyson lost to the best of his generation.
