I like watching Tyson but he is not in the top 15 heavyweights of all times.

He is a top 15 guy for me. I know resume is important and i dont have a big problem with u having 15 guys ahead of Mike ATG but there is not 15 guys who are greater than Tyson H2H - No Way.

Actually i have Tyson at somewhere between 4 and 10 Ali and Louis are the only ones i never change ranking - 1 and 2 respectively

Who could have stopped him in his prime? Ali, Frazier, Holmes, Foreman, Louis, Holyfield, you know the the heavyweights that are better.

I dunno bojangles, id have Mike doing a number on Smoking Joe in a hurry for sure and there is a case to be made for wins against the other guys too

I consider Mike Tyson as the tenth in the top 10 ATG heavyweights. Thats me of course.

I think he's the most exciting fighter of all time. As a 90's child, i was glad i grew up to see this man beating the **** out of guys, even if they were nobodies. The feeling you got before a Tyson fight...i will never feel that feeling again for a long time....maybe even never again.

He's a classic what if but he was what he was. Had it all and blew it and we have to accept that.

Whenever i feel bored or down....head straight for a Tyson fight and im singing and dancing. I love watching his fights. Im such a big fan of Mike that i watched his ''Taking on Tyson'' show LOL.

He isnt that crazy man anymore. He such a calm soul now that its unreal. Im a fan of both him as a fighter and him as a person. Living proof that you can have nothing and still be fairly happy.

Tyson was an overrated, overhyped, one dimensional mentally weak midget.

Vitali easily destroys Tyson.

Larry adding some context to your posts would be useful......Tyson would beat Vitali handily imo.

Tyson's resume is better than Vitali and Wladimirs for a start....not their fault though, and Tyson's "weak" resume is the most cited fact as to why he isn't considered by many as top 5 HW all time.

Additionally we have guys like Larry talking about Tyson's fight with Lewis and Danny Williams and comparing common opponents like Lewis with Vitali. Larry boxing is about timing in the ring and even moreso outside ie when you actually fight your opponent. Tyson was 10 years removed from his prime and had done a FOUR year jail stint before he faced Lewis.

Tyson is one of the best HW's to ever live. I think people who disagree weren't sure what they were seeing in his prime. He had elite speed, elite power, elite timing, elite chin......he was elite full stop.

Tyson, Holmes, Spinx, Witherspoon, Bowe etc with underrated guys like Bruno and up & comers like McCall, Lewis etc

Certainly pisses all over todays H/w scene.

Hell even guys like Pinklon Thomas and Tony Tucker are better than 99% of Vitali and Wlad's resume (again not thier fault) and it dooesn't mean they aren't elite.

it is not in order although I would probably stick with that top 3. Although many will think Lewis is too high but I like him so he stays there
