Actually one of the few who would have had a chance to beat a prime Tyson would be Vitali.

I agree, I have never got what all the hate he seems to receive is about because he was an absolute animal in his prime. His technique was outstanding.

The way he would slip punches, bob & weave to get inside, his combinations, timing, accuracy, power, speed, everything was sheer brilliant.

His jab is seriously underrated, considering how short he was for a H/W his jab was world class. Used to put opponents on ***** St with it.

One of my all time favourite fighters, you don't get any more exciting than Mike.

Boxing historians and critics are quite snobbish when assessing where Tyson is ATG wise. But at his best he deserves to be right up there IMO. He didnt have the proffesionalism to stay at the top longer even though he could have.

At his best it was a case of surviving for as long as you could with him. Very few could do that and to survive was your success. He beat all he had to beat at his time, and better than they had ever been beat.
Tyrell biggs said Tyson was the best out of LL, and Tyson so that says a bit.

But the powers that be are quite snobbish and probably wont give tyson his due.

Tyson would be all over his face- nobody backs up faster than tyson can explode forward.

He would nuetralize the jab by taking all of vitali's space all the time, and pivoting and throwing bombs in the pocket that would stagger vitali.
