Hopkins is my 4th greatest middleweight behind Hagler, Monzon and Greb.

He'd stack up with any of those guys and would be in a very close fight with any middleweight throughout history.

    He's a freak of nature...and a damned good fighter.

As a huge fan of Bernard Hopkins, I agree wholeheartedly with the thread. How anyone can not put their hand on heart and say that a 40-year-old running around for two-and-a-half minutes of every round and then pot-shotting to win isn't up there with the greats is beyond me.

Look at the way he destroyed top contender Eastman. Man, he took one look at that guy and thought "I'm so much better than you I don't even have to fight... I'll just show my superiority by running away for 2/3rds of the fight."

Or what about the way he ****ed over DLH and Tito? Man, those guys thought they were so **** hot when they fought at lower weights... but put 'em in above their natural weight against a much bigger guy and Hopkins will **** 'em up a treat.

            He'd had 20 straight defences... guy's a legend!

Who started this thread? Are your smoking something, insomnia maybe? Come on now, Hopkins is only known for two things, beating Tito and Oscar; One is a former Welter and the other a former Junior Lightweight. Big Deal. He fought a raw Taylor and lost. Hopkins is so over-rated it's ridiculous. And on top of that he's boring to watch. Top ten maybe. Vida Guerra has a Phat Ass.

                      -Robinson
                      -Grebb
                      -Hagler
                      -Monzon
                      -Hopkins

The fight I'd like to see most is Hagler-Hopkins...

Hopkins is WAY to ****in talented, there's also many haters as well...

I hope he knocks out Taylor and seals his name in history.
