    No, but seriosuly,

any of the other top ten middleweights would have been a tough test, and vice versa.

I\'d pick Greb, Robinson, Monzon, and Hagler to win, but it\'s not a certianty.

It seems you\'re trying to speak like your thoughts are factual.
i will give you robinson, hopkins can outbox hagler, monzon or greb. hopkins is the smartest fighter today.

And it's just as likely he'd beat them.

I'd have Hopkins at 4, behind Hagler, Monzon and Greb.

I think a pre DLH Hopkins beats some of those guys...because before then he was more active and dangerous...then again a post DLH Hopkins would be some because then he fought a more calculated fight

            Not a hope in hell!...

He held on to that IBF belt for years fighting Robert Allen over and over again & a load of nobodies whilst avoiding decent competition, untill a couple of welterweights/super-featherweights "that generated PPV money" moved up to face him.

Those are his "CAREER DEFINGING FIGHTS!" - Don't make me laugh!... LOL!...

If Oscar De La Hoya and Felix Trinidad aren't Hopkins "CAREER DEFINING FIGHTS" then what are?

Hopkins is certainly top ten, maybe top five. If he beats Taylor in rematch maybe one day he'll go down as top three but so much of his career was floudering and he fought several guys more than once with no point to it. its a shame, if his career was mapped better he could have been the greatest middleweight!

he just beat everybody, 20 straight title defenses is no joke. yes he beat 2 legends. just picture hagler or monzon against hopkins. i see hopkins outsmart both of them.
