The fighting game is more recognized by respect. Who you have gone up against. Not how many people have you beaten.
Otherwise JCC Jr. is one of the best ever already.
If that didn't matter, Terry Norris would be one of the greatest for beating an old Ray Leonard, and Lennox Lewis for beating a faded Mike Tyson.
In the fight game, a lot of guys make their claim to be the best only when their division is at its weakest. There is no way to make a case for being the greatest or even among the greatest if your division is devoid of talent.

But the fact Vitali has whatever amount of KOs he has... how many other ATG's or p4p fighters has he beat.... If he fought Lennox Lewis's his entire career he'd defintely have more loses... VK is my ***** but its universally recongized that his generation of HW fighters is meager compared to others.... If he was as great as he supposedly is Chris Byrd doesnt even get him to the 9th round... VK is good but if Kevin Johnson goes 12 with him... what do you think outta shape Lewis would have eventually did... Georger Foreman, Muhammed Ali, Ken Norton, Erine Shavers, Joe Louis, even guys like Rid**** Bowe, Tommy Morrison, Evander Holyfield, Tyson, Larry Holmes, Joe Frazier, Sonny Liston, Max Baer...etc
he was Ko'ed at least 3 times in that bout but nobody saved him from himself including the inept ref who should've been in the hospital instead of Briggs.... so now the thinking is all thse former goods to greats can last all 12 as well when LENNox barely made it past 2 rds & survived because of a cut AS he had NO WAY of outboxing the great Vitali KLITSCHKO.. until someone EVEN remotely comes close to winning more than 2 rds against him in a fight...
Vitali will ALWAYS be the favorite to kick any fighter's a$$$ IN the history of boxing.. half the fighters you mentioned had borderline glass jaws that Vitali would've easily cracked... come back with better material!
