yes he would - he gets credit for beating pavlik at 170, so he would get even more credit for beating the guy who beat pavlik, sergio (margarito's son).

pavlik went up from 160 (back when he was still a natural middleweight with no weight issues - only rehydrating to 170) and fought hopkins, SO WHY CAN'T SERGIO?1 OH YEAH! I know why! doubt it...hopkins chin is still intact and with his good defense i doubt if martinez will be able to land with the type of consistency he would need to get nard's attention...and trust me i am not a big fan of nard's

I'd prefer Hopkins/Froch! Froch wouldn't shy away from the trash talk either.

I'd like that too as with Ward (if he beats froch). Any of those three fights are good ones for nard.

Obviously he would deserve a little credit, but Martinez at 170 shouldn't beat Hopkins, even at his age.
