                  he lost his "thrown" when he retired though, imo.

                  Personally, I don't think beating victor ortiz who wasn't in my top 20 pound 4 pound list at the time puts him back at #1. Not just yet anyway.

                      he did officially retire though. Remember the tearful retirement speech? was gone for two years? That's when Pac became #1. He came back, fought Marquez & Mosley, then left for 16 months (didn't retire). So imo he shouldn't be #1 technically on anyones list (just yet).

                      Now of course, it's another thing to say floyd is the best boxer in the game as of today, that's cool and most likely true, just sayin.
