    a-yessir, 100% correct.

a TRUE pound for pound champion does NOT call out guys smaller - he proves his mettle by GIVING UP 10-15 pounds . . . sergio refuses to do this. . .

he EVEN SAYS HIMSELF it's not about money! he says its about glory and respect. .. THEN WHY, SERGIO, do you think you'll get more glory and respect fighting smaller guys. . .

YOUR FATHER, ANTONIO MARGARITO aka POPPA TONY taught you better than this! he knocked some respect and honor in yo ass when he knocked you through the damn ropes... ACT RIGHT. . ACT like your daddy raised you! you jobber. . .

Then by that logic, stop calling out welterweights and Cotto as he's a small JMW too.

2 divisions separate pac/mayweather vs martinez, 2 divisions separate b hop vs martinez

about a 20lb weight difference come fight night for pac/mayweather vs martinez, the same 20lb weight difference between b hop vs martinez on fight night

martinez willing to fight pac/mayweather in a catchweight bout, b hop willing to fight martinez at a catchweight bout

you tell me what's the difference between these 2 situations?

i been telling my friends forever. martinez calling out pac and mayweather is the same difference as b hop calling out martinez.

EDIT: Let me rephrase that, I understand why he wouldn't fight guys at 168. He'd face the same type of size disadvantage someone like, I don't know, Manny Pacquiao would facing him.
For these reasons, Martinez shouldn't be expected to fight 168 lbers and Pacquiao shouldn't be expected to fight Martinez. This position would be under much less fire had Martinez not spent most of 2011 calling Pacquiao and Mayweather out.

i never post on this forum. but something needs to be said about team martinez acting like chicken ****s. atleast fight a super middle weight if not hopkins. stop calling out fighters who are 2 divisions lower. its sad.

he says he wants to prove hes the best in the world but he's calling out smaller fighters, and fighting no namers like dzinzurik and 18/1 underdog darren barker. PLEASE!!!

There are those that call Pacquiao a duck for not fighting Martinez though, and say he's running. That's what I don't understand.

i think its more about size hieght and reach not weight every one above him are 6 foot plus more or less and have big height and reach advantages but with a floyd fight there wouldnt be many differences between them at all and for most of the fighters at welterweight and light middleweight are 5''8-5''10 and thats why he'd rather go down then up cant blame him for that at all he should be a welterweight for all his physical attributes light middleweight at best .

Martinez has been on record as saying he would be willing to drop to 150 to fight either. That is right in between Junior Middle and Welter

Has Hopkins expressed a willingness to meet Martinez at 165? right in the middle of Super Middle and Middleweight?

                      nope he states 170.
