I'm the one who dropped this piece and figured if Floyd faced Martinez it would be for the middleweight bragging honors and that they would meet at a catch-weight of 157 or something... Don't know how low Martinez can get figuring he's getting older

But you're right in that Floyd would prefer 154 I'm sure...

      Old sr is slipping

Its more than obvious that even though Pac and Jr weighed the same at what 16 years old that Jr is BIGGER in FRAME

IF Jr wants a great Legacy he needs to go wipe out the Jr Middleweights and fight Martinez

      or

JUST GO FIGHT MARTINEZ in his NEXT FIGHT cause he refuses to face PAC

If you disagree, no problem just ANSWER this question:

Who should be JRs next fight ?

Wait, so a guy who relies on his athleticism, fights with his hands down, sticks his chin out to bait his opponent...is impressive?

But a fighter who also relies on his athleticism, but uses fantastic footwork, sets up traps, and adjusts to his opponents style...is a **** fighter?

What makes me laugh is pacfans saying that its ok for pac not to fight Sergio because he is too small but its ok for Floyd. Apart from the 2 inches height difference pac and Mayweather are the same size. Both small WW's. Weigh-in weights, Mayweather is only 1lb heavier than pac and actually I've heard pac walks around slightly heavier than Mayweather's walking around weight. Both have fought for JMW title, pac much more recently. So if you are gonna say Floyds a duck that's fair enough, but you gotta say the same for pac.
you have a point there except for the whole Mayweather and Pac virtually being the same size thing... Floyd is much longer than Pacquiao and has a bigger frame and wingspan yes they are both small men but if you could lay them both down flat side by side face up with arms and legs stretched out you would see big difference in the size of their frame

Why the **** is this guy asking about Floyd moving up to 160? Of course that's never going to happen. We want to know what's his opinion of fighting Martinez at 150.

Martinez is too big to be chasing Welterweights .... If Sergio really wants a challenge he should go and fight Chad Dawson, Hopkins or Bute.

Sergio chasing a fight with Pac\Floyd is for a payday only, he is just too big for welterweights. At the most Pac\Floyd would weigh in fight-night at 150lbs, while Sergio is going to walk in the ring at 170+lbs at least.

Pac\Floyd would be crazy to fight someone that big.

              ***

              Sidenote:

How is it OK or within reason for a full-fledged Middleweight to chase after smaller welterweights??

What would be said, if the Klitschko brother's started chasing after Light Middleweights for the money?

                  Don't expect El FRAUD, AKA Elbow Man, to fight Serg, Pac;
or any fighter that presents a risk to him losing the PRECIOUS 0!!!

FRAUD will fight Serg, on condition Serg, must be CIRCUMSIZED,
15 minutes before round one, with a MACHETTE!!!

You are right in that their frame size is different but it really isn't by much. Its not like the difference between pac and Margarito for instance or pac and Paul Williams. Floyd is still a small WW. Like I said, they weigh virtually the same, just a lb or so difference. Truth be told if pac were to fight Mayweather, Mayweather will be one of the smallest fighters he would have faced in a while. Margarito, Clottey and Cotto all bigger frames. All I'm saying is if pac is too small to fight sergio then I don't see how pacfans can say Floyd is not. I would like to see Floyd fight Sergio though but if he doesn't I wouldnt call it a duck just like I wouldn't call pac a duck for not fighting Sergio.
