Yeah, after he's been looking like **** huh? Alvarez is one of the few champions who has yet to fight elite level fighters, how is that even possible?

He fought Ryan Rhodes who was one of the best in the division. You do know Paul Williams ducked a rematch with Cintron right? Now Alvarez is fighting him.

Excellent matchmaking. Alvarez is the favorite, but the Kermit that beat Angulo could easily show up. Great test for Alvarez after looking bored against Gomez. Looking forward to this.

Cintron is not what he was even 2 years ago, was schooled by Molina and I believe lost to Antwone Smith in a close fight though he got the nod. Also Cintron's power seems to have completely left him. Canelo should be able to look impressive.

Cintron? What a ***ING joke!! He is a tired, worn out fighter who lost 2 fights back and has no power left in his punches. This is a disgrace. Ginger Boy won't even fight Trout who owns his family name or Vanes or Angulo. Kirkland isn't even a champ and at least he had the balls to fight Angulo, unlike Ginger Boy.

Cintron doesn't have it anymore. It sucks that the kid has a belt and is allowed to fight these types of fights but he is young and I have hope one day he will be ready for a real test.

Cintron is shot to bits but imagine if he where to upset Canelo? Golden Boy would most likely freak out but I think Canelo has been acting a little too much like a quasi Diva (if some reports are true regarding how he felt about the whole Mayweather/Ortiz undercard) perhaps losing or winning in a brutal fight will wake him up and hopefully he dedicates himself and faces better opposition in the coming years or sooner hopefully but considering his age and his bs belt the spotlight is already on him.

I like Canelo way more the Chavez Jr but is Canelo ready for elite competition? Time will tell.
