Cintron definitely has more lives than a cat, whats worse is that he might actually look good against Alvarez and go on to get an ESPN fight next year against an up and comer. I guess its more than safe to say Cintron has turned into an official gatekeeper/journeyman.

Does Cintron have 1 more Angulo perforance left in the tank or will he pull another WWE type maneuver through the ropes? All I can say is I'm sure the fight will have another weird ending as do most of Cintron's fights.

Cintron will easily be the toughest fighter Alvarez has faced to date. However, Cintron is also 2-3 years removed from his prime. He hasn't really been anything close to what he was since the Martinez fight (and Sergio won that fight).

I really would have liked to see Canelo push for a fight with Erislandy Lara or Austin Trout next. Lara is highly skilled and pretty quick, would definitely have a good shot to beat him. Trout is a solid boxer, unbeaten, in his prime, and he needs to step up in his opposition too.

I like the fight, I will watch it, but would have rather liked to see Alvarez-Lara or Alvarez-Trout. I could careless if Alvare fights Martirosyan at this point. Vanes avoided getting big time recognition when he backed out of the Angulo fight. Instead, Angulo or Kirkland will now get the bigger fights with Cotto, Alvarez, etc.

Vanes is a punk, and not as good as his record shows. The guy has beaten nobody, and looked like crap more than a few times against no names.

I didn't see Citrons last fight, apparently he looked like shit.

So this is a good step up for Canelo.

If a champion isin't ready for top challenger, he shouldn't hold the belt!

This is a good fight for Canelo. Cintron outboxed Angulo who many up in hurrrr consider a beast at 154. Despite appearing like a hoe at times he has been inside the ring against the top of the crop, which means he is a good measurement for Canelo at this stage of Canelo's career.

Ok the Angulo Vs Cintron fight..."El Perro" Angulo came in sick to that fight.. I think he was battling the flu, not to make up excuses for him but that's probably why we didn't see the best of Angulo on that night.

Another thing I don't think Cintron is done.. when he fought Molina he was coming off a pretty long layoff. The guy needs to stay busy! I think Alvarez Vs Cintron will be a very interesting fight. If the fight is in Mexico it's going to go to a decision and there is no way Cintron would get a decision win fighting in Mexico.

Once cintron feels canelo's power he's going to turn into a track star.

If Alvarez thinks he can shoulder roll and that ****, he may get KO'd ve Contron who is 5 times better than anyone Alvarez fought. Should be a war til Cintron or Alvarez quits lol
