I'm certainly interested to see. It was his first time facing anyone worthwhile, we'll see what he does now that he gave such a good account of himself.

Yup, he has good defence, hanspeed & a decent jab.

Barker fought a smart fight and knew how to use his height, something Paul Williams doesn't know how to do. Martinez fought well but Barker made him work and it was an interesting and competitive fight.

Barker & his team definitely did their homework & studied Martinez very well & Barker showed he wasn't some undefeated European Champion "Hype Job" like a LOT of people(including Myself) thought!! He's actually a very good fighter..Martinez eventually broke him down, but he had to work pretty hard & take a few more shots than expected to do it...

Barker knew that if he dropped his hands and traded with Sergio , he was gna go to bed early, so what he did was play PeeKaboo defense all night, and made Sergio work... .That is why he lost the fight too, because a good defense shld be countered with a good offense, but Barker knew that anytime his hands dropped he was in danger... That is what I call respect for someone's handspeed, power and athleticism.... Barker played it safe all night, I dont think he did such an amazing job.. just fought a safe fight...Period..

Sergio had to work hard to get that knockout this guy Barker had that Winky Wright defense all night and Sergio fought well he had a bloody nose he was in a tough fight last night he got the knockout he just tries to please the crowd. He has fought like five fighters in a row that HBO wanted him to fight and he has come through every time he is the P4P number one guy right now in my book.

It did looked scripted he was hit harder earlier in the fight or maybe it was the Jones Jr vs Green effect

Just to start a fight with ya, hahaha,,,,

If Jr signs to fight Martinez he will be fighting Margaritos leftovers, hahah

ain't it so dumb to say such **** ???

Truth is if JR wants to really shine he needs Martinez, he needs to come up to 154 , he can without problems, unlike where Pac is just too small, Jr is NOT.

Just to get him to do this I will be glad to say JR will stomp a mud hole in Martinez

IF JR wants the World to adore and do more than Pac has done in and for boxing then he NEEDS to go to lightMIDDLEWEIGHT and clean them out and when its done go for the middleweight crown and one fight at super middle to show them how to fight and call it a day , then he will be written down as one of the greatest to ever lace up gloves.

LOL @ Sergio if he ends up fighting Andy Lee instead of Pirog. Talk about going from good resume to a crappy one.
