First of all the question is why do people watching boxing? They do because is fun and exciting.

It's hard to promote someone who doesn't bring excitement in the ring.

Floyd only became PPV material when he beat Oscar. People watch him on the excitement to see his azz lose. He's not an exciting fighter.

The point he is making, is that he didn't do the major #'s like oscar had been doing his entire career and he was boosted into the mainstream until Oscar.

The difference with Oscar was that he was well known to the entire world, his entire career and was ablt to attract the casual fan not judt the hard core fans.

Oscar could have fought cab drivers earl in his career and was still a major draw. Floyd was catapulted into the mainstream by Oscar after that fight, and was on 24/7 because of that fight. Oscar pretty much set him up to take over at his careers end, what Floyd din't anticipate was Manny coming along and these are a few of the reasons he resents both of them so much!!!

Even after boxing Oscar has shown that Floyd isn't on his level business wise with Golden Boy compared to mayweather production which nobody outside of Mayweathers entourage even knows.

People always have to analyze every step of Floyd's career but they don't do it to any other fighter... I guess that's more out of admiration but they mask it in hate!!
