Does Mayweather go back to "moving" against Pacquiao or does he "stay in the pocket"?

Same thing with JMM, he neutralized Manny's movement and speed when he kept his distance from Manny and had enough time to analyzed his every moves, but whenever he decided to closed in to fired off his combos, Manny had the upper hand to displayed his faster hands speed and got his shots off first in those exchanges.
Everytime Marquez stop his movement he got clocked!!!
I think floyd will win, but not staying in the pocket!
as good as floyd is defensivly thats how good is Manny with his offense!!

I used to think exactly like you, and I'm not saying it can't still happen, Floyd has the skills to make it happen. I just tend to believe he won't commit enough, and at some point will be touched. Marquez was knocked down four times between both fights, the man is tough as hell, and is not shy about standing toe to toe, in fact I think that's what got him into trouble against Pac just as you stated. When he backed up and worked of his jab he was controlling the fight. That said, those fights were at 126 and 130. These guys are much bigger now, Pac is better and brought his speed up. I think this will be bad for Marquez, and I think Floyd won't use his left hand enough to discourage Pacquiao.

I disagree with some of the things you point on. Of course Manny won't be discourage, but the left hand would disrupt his rhythm and force him to get desperate in which would play into Floyd's hand to set up his straight right hand as a trap. I based my theories from what I've seen from the two bouts that Manny had against Mosley and Clottey, and those two guys never set up anything behind their jab like JMM did with his lead right hand.Last edited by Carpe Diem; 09-29-2011, 06:18 PM.

guys like him a Pea really did it with torso movement, hand and arm placement and reflexes/anticipation
the Ortiz fight they showed how Floyd punched split seconds before Ortiz did because he knew what and when Ortiz was throwing

It's not a coincidence that at times during his fights against Mosley and Ortiz, Floyd looked like he was taller than both of them. It appeared that way because he fought at long range and those guys didn't knew how to imposed their height/size as an advantage except when they cornered him against the rope.

TS is making it sound like duckqiao knew actually how to fight
old mosley who came to hug and kiss pwned duckqiao with his jab alone...duckqiao is used to weight drained damaged goods who cant fight for sh**
untalented fighters like cotto and margacheato made him look good because they have no skills..no defense at all..no jab etc...
duckqiao couldnt beat the old mosley...why?? because mosley knew how to jab..if you know how to jab you can beat duckqiao..
floyd would **** him..
just look at my sig
