Does Mayweather go back to "moving" against Pacquiao or does he "stay in the pocket"?

Not if he takes that test he won't.

      2. when floyd stood his grounds vs a southpaw, he got caught with diffrent solid shots...even went to ***** street...even vs a righty

combine those two basic common knowledge = floyd fighting pac at close range is the studiest strategy floyd can come up with.

      it aint rocket science.
Do you know why the jab is very useful? It's not only use to disrupt your opponent/s rhythm to keep them off from getting in their groove, but it can be use to keep the fight at distance to leave enough room space for yourself to analyze your opponent. You have a guy like Margarito that threw his jab as a measuring stick, but never bounced back, side steps, moved his head and upper body, and always lead face first. Somehow you think he has the same fighting flat-footed stance as Floyd.

ofcourse....it is claimed to be the most important punch, the jab!...they use it to set up the best punches depending on figfhters....

the use of the jab with floyd was nowhere to be found vs ortiz..he was all right hands, nothing else......actaully he missed a lot and never set up anything using the jab....it was all lead right straights....

At 1:38 - 1:40 is the perfect example of what i am trying to explain. If you watch closely at Shane's feet, he barely bounced back and he still caught Manny flown in. Shane wasn't consistent enough to set up that right hand throughout the fight. He moved backward at times that he didn't necessarily had to.

He doesn't throw it often. In the Ortiz fight, he used it more as a measuring stick to aimed at Ortiz with his lead right hands.

lol...video is irrelevant homeboy...floyd does not fight like shane...had pac tried to dot that with floyd, floyd would've gone out of the range unable to thow anyhting...

that's is right..that is why you mentioning it was worthless....and yes, jab is also a measuring stick on how close your opponents is.....and?

And this is where the conversation end. Shane used the same type of stance that Floyd used in the Ortiz fight, except Floyd would've just moved his head and upper body back and still sneak in the right hand that Shane caught Manny with.

and that same stance was what got him cuaght with diffrent solid punches.....if he wants to survive the the whole figfht without getting ktfo, stay away from pac as much as possible and box....that way, he can lessen the chances of him getting lit up...

Yes, he should stay away from Manny "The one super punch KO artist" Pacquiao.
