I don't know what all this talk is about Toney beating his ass. That never happened. Toney won a decision, looked fairly bad in the first half of the fight, and took advantage of an out of shape Ruiz late in the fight. Toney is not what he used to be.

Even in the rounds where Toney didn't look great, he still won those rounds easily though. He easily outlanded Ruiz all night, no denying that.

RJJR vacated the belt so #1 vs #2 fought for it.

vacated or not, NEITHER of them beat the champ, and NEITHER of them were deserving of a title shot.

before rahman/ruiz, ruiz lost a one-sided fight to roy jones and rahman was 0-2-1 in his previous three fights.

ruiz lost the title and rahman hadnt won since 2 1/2 years prior.

neither of them deserved a title shot and neither of them deserve to be called a "champion".
