neither rahman beat roy jones for the WBA HW title, so they were not champions. if u lost the title to some1, and some1 gives u back the title even though u didnt beat ur conquerer, that means u r undeserving of that title.

You LOOK for them to do that, but they usually don't.

The belts are only as good as the fighters who have them.
If John Ruiz has a belt, the belt is worthless.

RJJR vacated the belt so #1 vs #2 fought for it.

Like I said before, Ruiz has beaten some guys I never thought he would beat. He is just so hard to watch at times.

I have so many heavyweight fights in my collection it's almost pathetic. I have many Ruiz fights and the only fight I cant watch and couldnt watch is the Fres O fight. Although I could watch the Tua fight over and over again with no problem.

Too bad Toney owned his ass in the ring...where fighters settle things.

The steroid he was using was only performance enhancing in the fact that it helped his muscles repair faster after his injury to his bicep. It didn't help him slip any punches, help his punching power, help his footwork, make him any faster, or make him any more technically skilled.

Call him what you want, he's still one of the most incredible fighters of this era, and the most technically skilled HW out there right now.

All this smacktalk between Toney and Ruiz is making for a good promotion. Maybe these two are planning to stage a bout sanctioned by and for the IBO title? By the way Toney's attorney's/promoters smacktalk is better than Ruiz'.
