If Ortiz chose to listen to him on those 6/7 occasions he can't use that as an excuse for the way the fight ended can he. Can you see the logic behind that? Or are you going to go off on another tangent?
ther is a diffence kid, when Cortez was saying that time was never called he was splittin the fighters apart.

However when time is called there is a series of commands a ref gives, there is a process in deducting a point for a intentional foul and that was not followed

I swear some people care more about it then Ortiz actually does lol. Mayweather is the best fighter in the world and if you cant handle it maybe you should try and enjoy another sport!

Look i understand what the rules say but to be taken that literally in a fight when the guy has been giving the same command to continue fighting is irresponsible action for your personal well being.

If Cortez said corn pops every-time he separated them and waved them into fight they would have fought as ridiculous as the command is once it's repeated all people follow suit. Ortiz IMO was looking for a way out. He knew the game was different when he couldn't break Floyd down like he did Berto in the first round, then the second round comes and still foyd is standing and not hurt then the third round now the forth. Ortiz broke and IMO knew where the fight was going and looked for a way out.

My take on the fight is opposite to yours, and the rules are federal meaning they are ment to be taken literally.

Naw bro they are the same. Something was fishy in that fight in how it ended people are still trying to understand. The Fact is what we saw with our eye's, the reasons why it happened as it did, we are trying to piece together.

                  This is all just talk.

What about that rule? When time is called, Punches are not to be thrown.

What about the rule if a trainer steps into the ring during a contest the fighter gets DQ'd?

The problem is Nevada, Not the mayweathers but Nevada all together, they are not enforcing these rules and as long as the mayweathers get away with it, they will continue to violate the rules.

I am sorry but no fighter should be bigger than the sport, and due to the money involved here, Nevada is not preservin the intergrity of the sport, they are looking out for the econimic impact that a mayweather fight brings to their state.

                    And thats a ****ing problem

Cortez says "Let's go" around 10 times in that fight, and everytime he says it the fighters seem to overstand and obey.
Not to mention the hand signal given, those facts alone should make you feel a lil ****** for making this thread.

See this is why nobody takes you idiots serious, you know shyt about the sport. Now when a vid comes out showing the ref telling Manny either "Let's go" or sometrhing to that effect you'll look even dumber.
