i think it hurts them both the same, pacquiao has only fought losing oppenents aside from cotto pac has fought worse comp than mayweather he hasnt fought a top ranked welterweight yet one thing we can say about mayweather he beats whoever is the man to beat in the division, i am a huge fan of both fighters but callin it down the middle mayweather has fought the better comp. while pacman has tore threw his but check all there records,rank at the time pac fought them and the weightclass if pac and mays next choice is crucial if its not the mega fight

He is effective. You can't use the Floyd fight to judge. Floyd is a counterpuncher and JMM is a counterpuncher.

Floyd was at least 3 weight classes bigger so it was a terrible idea for JMM to take that fight stylistically though he had financial incentive to do it.

Fuhrermoar™, he's fought 24 rounds with Manny already. They're practically family at this point. A few pounds is nothing compared to all the technical data that he's stored inside his great brain on how to engage in hand to hand combat with Manny.

I'm not ruling out a Manny win, cuz' its possible since he has God given power, but this is JMM's fight to lose.
