That Mosely/ Pacquiao fight was not Richardson's fault. People seem to forget that Mosley has always been mentally weak in the ring. True, but I got the impression he was only a little shook of the size difference and not of mayorgas skillset. The Manny fight, he definitely went into cruise control once he got hurt. I remember Richardson begging him to stick to the plan. It reminds me of the Clottey/Manny fight when his corner was trying to convice him to engage and Clottey shook his head no.

Theres no excuse for fighters who go into survivial mode. If they do then they shouldnt be given another chance unless they have earnt it.

Shane wa smentally weak when things didnt go his way but he never quit even if he felt like it. Lets not forget he was well past his best when he fought Floyd and Pac but even at his best he never had the ability to change tactics and would cruise to a loss. He seemed to have settled vs Mayorga but he crumbled late on and managed to rescue that one.

People could say that Marquez cruised to his loss vs Floyd too. Its not that they want to survive its just that they cant win any rounds and dont know what else to try.
