If Gamboa is really serious about fighting Pacquiao, then fighting Rios would be no big deal for him.
I'd have my money on Rios based on size alone.

Size alone will not do it, he will put a glove factory on Rios face.

Arum would really be throwing Gamboa to the wolves. Rios is way too big. Lol. After seeing Lopez get knocked out by a second rater, it's no wonder Arum didn't bring up opponents like Rios for him despite the fact that he was struggling to make weight.

Gamboa by KO! Only 2 1/2 inch difference in height and three inches in reach favoring Rios.

Gamboa wants this type of fights, he is not 25 anymore and he wants a legacy, De la Hoya threw Lara to the wolves and look what happened, he want it to clear the path for Canelo and now no one wants to fight Lara, how many fighters do you c eager to fight Gamboa or Rigondeaux for that matter? Lara was turn dow by 4 or 5 ranked fighters incluided Angulo, Kirkland, Vanes, Trout and the other Champ, fans think that the Cubans are easy to beat but promoters knows better, do you think Arum was building up Gamboa-Lopez? NO way he was doing that, he knew once he put Lopez inside the ring with Gamboa he would lose his cow cash, that is why he gave him the scraps and the "big" fight went down the drain.

Oh, I agree...but 130 isn't 135. And Yuri wasn't fighting anyone near the size and quality of Brandon Rios. In my opinion, no one stands between Gamboa and a title at 130. The division is weak. Once "El Ciclon" moves up to 135, the competition will stiffen up. Whatever...I'm looking forward to it.

Every time he step in the ring he is being weighting about 135-138, I think is fair to say that size will not be an issue once he move up in weight.
