Gamboa doesn't want to remember he is fairly serious about fighting Pacquiao soon so he is going to 135 first then if he wins go to 140ish and challenge Manny

      Zakly, primo.

Didn't Arum say that Rios/Pacquiao was likely for 2012?

So will Rios be fighting welterweights or featherweights next year?

with those SLOW FEET and NO HEAD MOVEMENT...NO CHANCE AGAINST GAMBOA!

BUT to be fair to Bam Bam who I am a big fan of as well...we don't know how Gamboa will be with that extra weight, will he bring his Power with him? also how will his Stamina be with that extra weight

so I will have to wait and see what happens over the next few months/year

Gamboa is too small for lightweight...Rios is too big for lightweight...Rios will walk right through everything of Gamboas and beat him unmerciful. Gamblowa should stick to shoe shining the Daniel Ponce De Leons of the world and resting on his amateur record.

He will have issues figuring out Gamboa at first but my gut think he walks him down and puts an ugly beating on him while behind on the cards...

The size difference is my major concern, also. I can see Yuri fighting the same type of fight he fought with Ponce De Leon. It wouldn't be pretty...and if Rios catches up with him, it might be downright ugly. Still, you never know what you're going to get when a fighter moves up in weight. Time will tell....

With all do respect to those that are stating Rios will walk through Gamboa, I'll remind them that Gamboa started as a JR LW, and he was koing ppl left and right he will carried his power and speed as well as his boxing skills, Rios is to slow and he stop every punch with his face, Gamboa should win this fight hands down, I saw Rios against Vazquez very discouraged and ready to give up.
