I'd be extremely interested to see how Gamboa is effected by jumping up in weight..

You'd have to lean towards losing something, but not everyone loses something... sometimes cutting weight hurts the fighter ala Pac.

He may in deed take an even better punch, and retain an even higher speed advantage over his opponents.

exactly what i thought even before reading the article,it's always "might" happen in 2012,i think i read another one yesterday too or day before,and it was juanma/donaire,"might" happen,tired of reading this

I like the options for Rios for the MSG bout. He is the only champ right now fighting young strong opponents. Besides Soto I don't see to much competition for him in that weight class, maybe Broner

Sounds like bs from Arum. Lets see Gamboa fight someone decent at 130 before he goes on to fight Rios at lightweight. Besides, Rios is probably going to want to move up next year.
