Moreno HAS to be in there.

He's clearly one of the best defensive fighters today.

When he fight cautiously, he doesn't get hit that much. Who would you put in his place?

          Miguel Vazquez has great defense.

          He's in the discussion.

Like IDH said, Moreno...He's a poorman Whitaker. The closest thing to Whitaker we got going.

He has fought in other fighters home turf. And, he has been so good that they haven't found a way to rob him yet. And, is not like he got power either.

            Just a straight ring general.

              Moreno.

Definitely superior to Bradley from a defensive standpoint.

I should try to watch his fights from now on. To be quite honest, I've never heard of him.

He's one of the dudes in my avi, along with Bradley and Roman Gonzalez.

One of the most, if not the most underrated fighter in the game today.

It looks like he will fight Darchinyan in Dec on the undercard of Mares-Agbeko II...Check him out.

I honestly don't think it is 5 Top Fighters with great Defense lol

                      but lets see:

                      Mayweather of course
                      B-Hop
                      Andre Ward
                      Chad Dawson

after that then it is a BIG DROP OFF DEFENSIVELY:
Dmitry Pirog (he actually has a very slick and clever style defensively, it is not perfect but he does it well and can make people miss and can avoid big punches very well)

                      Andriy Kotelnik
Adrien Broner (a much more WATER DOWN VERSION OF MAYWEATHER style defensively, haven't perfected it yet but does it well enough to avoid serious damage)

Timothy Bradley (he uses a TON OF HEAD MOVEMENTS and he does a good job ducking underneath punches, can be very hard to hit cleanly)

Hank Lundy -is one of the best at Shoulder Rolling and Countering but he gets very sloppy at times and has holes in his defense and he gets caught

also: Joshua Clottey, Arthur Abraham they have that SHELL DEFENSE that is hard to Penetrate, unfortunately for them they don't throw enough punches back and neither have great footwork but those Shells are hard to get past

also think Maidana defense is VERY UNDERRATED
