If Ortiz wants to get a rematch what he needs to do is insult Floyd call him a monkey or a n**ga talk about his kids pis him him off; that would get the public behind right now nobody cares.
Ortiz ripped my punk ass off of 60 bucks wanted to make love in the ring with floyd and he wants more money of a re-match? i aint going to pay for that **** again. **** that ****ing **** im pissed off enough as it is paying for that **** man
Im an ortiz fan, have seen him fight live.
Been seeing his fights for years now.
But that headbutt was dirty, he rammed his head all night.
Ortiz fought a dirty fight.
Ortiz messed up in that fight just by the way he fought... It was dirty and i mean i dont care how much you hate mayweather, you just dont go in headbutting people like that.. He should've had tried to atleast fu**** him up in a clean way!! But we all know that wasnt gonna happen cuz that was just a warm up fight for mayweather... Lets all be realistic now, ortiz didnt have a small chance against mayweather lol.. Ortiz his ok but his got something missing to be a greak elite boxer and thats a heart.. He aint got one so bump him his never gonna be great.

People who have not really boxed before tend to look at it like that, the butt that caused all the drama no doubt illegal.
But Ortizs use of the head is not what your making it out to be, anybody who has laced them up and has an aggressive style of fighting, knows that when you get in on the inside with a man who has a nice uppercut to avoid getting hit with that shot you must burry your head into his shoulder and thats what Ortiz was doing.
Holyfield does that, and its often looked at the same way your looking at this, infact if you watch Holyfield vs Bowe 2 you can hear steward inbetween rounds reminding Evander that once he gets inside burry your head into his shoulder.
Alot of fighters do that and its not a dirty tactic, its to avoid getting hit with a shot on the inside you dont see comming.
However no matter how you look at this there is a right way and a wrong way, you can bend the truth all you want but at the end of the day its the fighters responsibility to protect himself at all times, its the fighters responsibility to win the fight but most importantly its the fighters responsibility to respect this sport, you dont disrespect the sport of boxing you let the ref do his job.
if a fighter is showing sportsmanship weather he was over doing it or not you do not sucker punch him like that when you clearly know that the ref doesnt have control when you clearly know your opponent is trying to make it right, sure it doesnt make the headbutt right but he was doing the right thing...
and at the end of the day, this is exactly the kind of **** that contributes to the death of this sport.
and i laughed my head off when oscar said "that's like two karate kids bowing down to eachother, and one gets up and kicks the other guy in the face then says "hey, look, i won, im the greatest!"
