  • Is Pacquiao's camp flip-flopping (video)

It seems that they all have something different to say in regards to the testing. You ask Pacquao's camp is he willing to take the test and you get a million different answers.

The commission already agreed to Floyd's stance on random blood testing. The only problem is the commission doesn't have enough funding to enforce these standards for ALL fighters.

That's why it cracks me up when I hear Ariza say "Well the commission never said"... No, stop right there. The commission is for the testing, they just don't have the funding. Big difference.

Saying they wouldn't be opposed to testing doesn't mean that they are mandating it. There IS a big difference.

The commission can't mandate it without "funding".

How can you make someone take a test you don't have the money to pay for?

Th LAST thing we need to worry about is how to pay for testing in this fight.

The testing expense is 0.04% of the projected fight revenues.

This is true. But since we're not "picking" on fighters, this OSDT testing should cover "ALL" fighters year round. That's where the funding problem comes into play.

You do know that the commission doesn't fund the testing. The job of the Commission is to administer the State laws and regulations governing unarmed combat for the protection of the public and to ensure the health and safety of the contestants.

The promoters job is to set up and pay for everything involved in a boxing match and making sure all legal requirements are met as required by the commission.

The commission would not pay for the testing the promoter would.
