It's Floyd's defense

I just watched the Berto/Ortiz fight again and then I watched the Mayweather/Ortiz fight again. The difference in those fights was Mayweather's defense. Whereas Ortiz continously penetrated Berto's defense with wicked shots he could NOT get to Mayweather which resulted in lots of wild punches (whiche excited the hell out of Jim Lampley) and very few of them touching Mayweather. I also noticed something else from the Berto fight. Ortiz is really a dirty fighter. He continously used his head butting Berto and kept hitting him on the back of the head. Oh, and yes, That right hand from Berto that put Ortiz down in the 6th was devastating and he got up and knocked Berto down. In fact Berto hit him with solid shots that he walked through most of the fight.....and yet, a simple left right combo from Mayweather put him down for the count. Something is wrong with that picture.

ortiz had some moments against fraud against the ropes...after 4 rounds against ortiz, fraud got hit more than what mosley did for 12 rounds. as for fraud beating pac easy...pac is no ortiz. pac will move in and out, left to right and use his jabs more than what ortiz did. pac has better combos and can throw and land from angles fraud is not used too, and fraud knows that.

sad to see some people pick fraud over pac, but yet fraud dont have the ba//s to step to the plate. the thing is, there are alot of videos where pac, arum, and even roach saying that olympic style random testing is no long an issue and will take it up to the day of the fight...but yet fraud keep saying "just take the test"...either fraud is deaf and blind or he knows about the non issue but just keeps on saying it just so he can avoid pac.

Floyd changes his style up based on his opponent, it's hilarious people comparing Floyd vs Ortiz, to Floyd vs Manny, it would be a completely different type of fight.

Guys with high workrates like Manny have their workrate significantly reduced against guys who can fight off the front foot, and are elusive counterpunchers.

It's nothing new to get hit. Even Floyd gets hit. Just not often and not cleanly. Actually quite minimal compared to other fighters. It's also nothing new when you open yourself up and walk someone down you're bound to get hit. Against a southpaw, chances of getting hit are higher. With that said, Ortiz didn't land anything significantly on Floyd Mayweather while Floyd busted Ortiz' right eye with precision right hands. And you have to be an idiot to think that Floyd would fight with a specific style and stick to it throughout the fight. He'll adjust. We all saw how Cotto and Mosley made him miss and at times make him look amateurish. Cotto and Mosley are not known for their foot work. More the lack of it actually.

You forgot to mention who beat Hatton and DLH first. Mosley too. You also forgot to mention that DLH fought at a weight he hadn't made for 10 years. Marquez hit Paquiao like no other. Yet Floyd went through him like he was target practice. You also forgot to mention that Floyd controlled a fighter 14lbs heavier than himself. No BS catchweight was involved.

I don't give much for triangle theories but since you brought it up I just want to shoot it down before it even went in the air. Blaow!
