I'm looking for Euro fighters I can check out who were the rea deal.

A lot, I'm not saying ALL, of the fighters I watch over here (the sunny uk) are brought up beating a string of terrible opponents, then there are hyped as the second coming of Liston. They then fight someone with a pulse and get completely exposed.

I consider Benn, Graham and Eubank as top fighters

Graham held his own against McCallum

Benn beat McClellan

Eubank Benn, Watson I, Watson II. He also gave an very good account of himself against Thompson

By Frauds I mean over protected hypejobs: Ottke, Harrison, David Haye

Thats an insult to me, you named all the guys who arent of European STOCK. Its like me saying Brian Mitchell and Phillip Holiday were the greatest African fighters. And they are FAR from the only great European boxers. What about Cerdan, Carpentier, Benvenuti, Michalczewski?? Also Marcel Thil, Freddie Welsh, Jimmy Wilde, Henry Cooper, Ken Buchanan.

You can start with Buchanan, Benvenuti and Cerdan. First 2 have most fights available to watch. Cerdan has a few but they are mostly just highlights. Also try watchin some Dariusz M fights. Welsh and Wilde fought so long ago that its very hard to find any footage of their fights.

And ignore this bozo above who calls Dariusz a fraud. He was a knockout artist and they can never be frauds!

I've read a bit about him. I'm told he was a very good fighter back in the day and he had long term problems after Durans low blow.

FORGET THAT! He was not yet at his peak and it was just a bad night against a very tricky opponent. You should rather watch his fight vs Virgil Hill, there you can see what the REAL Dariusz was about! Also recommended are his wars with Richard Hall.
