Juanma will be at 130-135 in less than a year and he's asking for Nonito? Even with all that weight advantage I don't see any possible way of Juanma winning that fight, it would be a very humiliating defeat in the hands of Donaire

Making 126 has become too physically taxing for JuanMa, but the notion of a fight with a P4P name seems appealing to him. I think it would be a great fight, if Lopez can safely make the weight. IMO, JuanMa could probably still fight at FW, but he just puts on too much weight between fights and winds up having to drain too drastically.
Anyways, regardless I would favor Donaire in that bout

As for the outcome of such a match-up? Donaire is obviously very talented and seems to have a great future ahead of him, but one never knows how a fighter will handle the climb up in weight. If these two meet at 130, for example, it might become apparent that Nonito lost some speed and relative power. Lopez might find some resilience, while increasing power. It's tough enough to call some bouts when both fighters are at the same weight; it becomes a real crap shoot when you're talking about climbing several weight classes.

move up as far Pacquiao has.

Donaire, the WBO/WBC bantamweight champion, is moving up to 122 after a fight against Omar Narvaez in October, but a move to 126 may happen very quickly as well. Juanma likes the idea of facing him, however, there are several opponents that Juanma can face before a meeting with Donaire.

If Donaire can carry his power and speed to 126 then damn lightning has struck twice for us pinoys. Donaire could outbox Lopez to a decision. But I would give a slight edge to Lopez due to the size difference. It all depends on whether Donaire can take Lopez's shots.
