I think that even though the boxing rules state that a boxer has to "deffend himself at all times" a boxer that does such a cowardly act like Mayweather did should be punished by the law. The way he hit Ortiz (who is a human being) should be vehemently condemned. This case should be taken to the courts because of it's severity. I also think that Ortiz is a serious case of low self-esteem, he does not realize that his life was seriously put in danger. This boxing organization should be investigated and sanctioned. Where is the senator that represents this state? Is there anybody out there willing to voice and/or act against this horrendous act of human barbarism and insensibility before another boxer loses his life.

Another thing.
If u have never been in a ring before
DO NOT even comment on this.
Because u have no idea what u are talking about until
u have been in there.
Cortez is ****.
And Floyd is a punk *****
youve never produced an entire album, dont comment on someone elses musical quality/talent
you have never installed cable in someones house, dont complain if they mess up something on your wall..
****** logic, this is a boxing fan site, with fans who enjoy giving their opinion, if you dont like it then you can retreat to a world where only people who have done something can comment.
im a veteran, i served in the war in afgahnistan, however i dont tell people who havent been to war they cant comment on it, its just an opinion, dont get high and mighty, you are far from a valuable knowledgeable poster on here so lets not act like what you say means something, it doesnt.

i can see where he is coming from and right before the headbutt you can see floyd put his hands on the side of his throat and he laughs about it maybe victor had flashbacks about the weigh in when he put his hands around his throat idk but still ortiz should keep his cool and keep fighting. i blame all 3 for the bs ending but mostly cortez he says time??? wtf is time isnt it time in and he walks towards the judges what a dumb prickLast edited by latinbrawler316; 09-22-2011, 10:52 PM.

As he was moving away from the hug, with his hands down, Mayweather landed two punches which knocked Ortiz out. Ortiz is claiming Cortez never advised him to resume fighting.

outside of gaining leverage, can you show me where floyd is throwing elbows or using them?
i sincerely think you either dont know what you are talking about and just doing the usual "this article says floyd did this, so he clearly did it!"
this is one of those fights where floyd wasnt really on the inside often thus didint have a reason to use his elbow out of the shoulder roll, so lets see your breakdown
