Go fetch my first post and start there, then you'll understand. Until then, you're just a lost cause.

The only lost cause here is the guy supporting a phony drug test that isn't really random.

But thats only because you're ******er than everyone else who actually knows what random means.

This argument has went sideways in about 10 different directions ever since smart guy showed up lol. But no this wasn't the original argument.
OK your first post (i believe?) states that until the financial situation allows for real osdt, the mayweather version is the next best thing?

While technically it is the next best thing - you can still easily use all the peds you want out of competitions and even with the mayweather test, the only difference i see is that it has a remote chance of detecting hgh.

I think the point he was making is that its not worth implementing the mayweather test because it is ineffective itself for the most part. (Again, im saying that based on what ive read about the tests - perhaps you know more about it than i do)

SuckerPunch4KO:I have an idea. Let's do a year round drug test that's not financially possible for ALL fighters. If that's not possible, let's just not do a test at all, then blame the person that's making an attempt to do what's possible.

        Great idea!!

          Yes, this is true.

Since no testing system is 100% effective, do you suggest doing away with all testing as a whole?

Condoms aren't 100% effective so let's stop using condoms, yes?

He's not saying to not do a test at all - he's saying to do what the NSAC is currently doing. Sure, it has its weakness, but it has caught people before and it's more financially viable at the moment.

Second, i don't think mayweather really cares about it. His undercard was full of NSAC tested fighters who did not undergo osdt.

              But your problem begins here.

There is testing. Testing Floyd has used since 1996.

You guys would have better bullets in your chambers if Floyd was using this method his entire career.

              But he didn't.

No im not suggesting that at all - im suggesting just stick with the current testing standards.

Unlimited urine testing would probably be the most viable method right now..(not sure how cheap it is, but its not as intrusive as blood test) - it will find the peds which are needed to make hgh useful. And if the blood test would only be able to detect hgh, there'd be no need for it since hgh on its own is useless.

To sum it up: Saying no to mayweather testing is not saying no to all testing. It's just saying no to a test which is probably much more expensive and only slightly more useful.

OMG I'm in the twilight zone here.

Toyman, this is what you don't understand. NSAC has already agreed to FMJ's stance on the matter. The only reason they haven't made Random blood testing mandatory is due to, guess what? Yep, funding!!!

How can you sit here and tell me what NSAC is doing is enough, when NSAC themselves have already said it's not enough.

If you went back and read my posts like you said you did, you would've read both links I posted with quotes from NSAC themselves.

                  • I give up, it's late and we're getting nowhere.

I try to post links/sources from NSAC themselves and that still goes nowhere lol

I feel like I'm talking to Victor Ortiz............ The tree LMAO!!

If they're not doing year round, in and out of competition random drug testing,

                      guess what?

They haven't agreed to it, funding issues or not.

                      Thats the bottom line.

They are not doing it. To support my stance, Floyd agreed to fight Margarito when Tony went up to him face to face, Floyd said, "We'll do it later, down the line".

                      Guess what?

                      Floyd never fought him.
