The main reason Cotto lost too Marg and Pacquiao was his lack of head movement and his inability to defend against uppercut, and what Marg's best asset? The uppercutt... He was able to land it over and over and over and I see the same thing happening again because I have seen very little improvement in Cotto since he's got with Emmanuel he still gets hit a lot..

Cotto loss the 1st fight by fatigue... Margo could NOT KO Cotto. Cotto was gassed and his head was clear when he too that knee. Margarito needs to wake up and remember he will not have a cast on his hands this time around and Cotto is NOT going to allow him freebies while sliding on the ropes with his hands at his sides. Steward will correct these little things and Margarito will find himself confused in that ring.

I believe him. Against Pac he took the beating of a lifetime and kept on walking forward. This guy is almost impossible to stop. I'm still surprised Cotto went this route so early instead of fighting guys like Berto and Ortiz at WW or Canelo. This fight was always gonna be there...

I guess the best thing he has going for him is Marg will most likely be slower. With 10 ounce gloves though Cotto isn't going to hurt this guy. So he'll have to outbox Marg over 12 rounds. Will Steward get Cotto to clinch? I doubt it.

10 ounce gloves? Is that confirmed? Cotto's got a better chance with those gloves.

Though I can understand the other issue: punching power decreased. The gloves will help him block better and Margarito won't be as effective with his punches.

I still ask myself whether or not Margarito's punching resistance will go down or not and whether or not his face will hold up, especially after his last outing.

Margarito is more battle-worn than Cotto at this point.
